Location
Hauteville-Lompnès town (Ain), 31 km South of Nantua.

Nature & Aspects
Sedimentary rock. Limestone oolithique.  Compact, dense limestone, medium grey/blue colour. Presence of small round white spots, crystallized, giving a bright effect. Some white veins. Small white lines of calcite.
